Still a teacher. Just in a different classroom.
The Obsession Phase
- I spent hours doing HIIT
- Long cardio sessions
- Working out every chance I could
- Restricted my food intake
And I believed that if I just pushed a little more...I'd finally be happy with myself.
But the truth is, the more I pushed and restricted, the more miserable I became.
I was chasing the smallest version of myself instead of building the strongest one.
The Burnout Phase
The constant cardio, restrictive eating, and pressure to be perfect left me physically drained and mentally overwhelmed.
Obsessing wasn’t the answer.
Neither was stopping altogether.
I had spent so much time trying to control my body that I stopped listening to what it actually needed.
That's when I realized the problem wasn't that I needed to do more to see or maintain results.
It was my overall approach.
The Rebuild Phase
The endless cycle of restriction, guilt, and trying to earn my worth through exercise finally stopped.
Instead of chasing the next diet or spending hours on the treadmill, I learned how to fuel my body, prioritize strength, manage stress, and actually recover.
For the first time, taking care of myself stopped feeling like a punishment.
I was building habits that fit my real life.
And that's when everything changed.
The Freedom Phase
Freedom wasn't about reaching a number on the scale.
It was waking up without guilt.
Enjoying meals without obsessing over every bite.
Moving my body because I loved what it could do, not because I was trying to punish it.
It was trusting myself again.
Today, I don't coach women to become the smallest version of themselves.
I help them build a life where they never have to start over again.
